Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! Today I’m bringing you something new. I’m so excited to talk about this, I don’t even know where to begin! If you know me at all, then you most likely know how obsessed I am with planners. I LOVE planners. Why? They’re adorable, and they help me remember everything I need to get done for the day. Everyone knows I love to forget. Okay, I don’t love it, but it happens. A lot. Praise the lord for planners, amiright? As you would expect, I’ve had a lot of different planners in my day, and I’m going to tell you all about my favorite ones.
I just finished up my Day Designer mid-year planner yesterday and holy wow. I freakin’ love it.
I purchased the planner in Day Designer’s Target line, because, ya know, broke college student blah blah blah. You can also purchase it here on Amazon (Prime Day is July 12 *wink wink*). I’ve never bought an actual Day Designer, but I don’t see a reason to if they continue the Target line because it is really amazing. I purchased the 8×10 planner last August at Target for $15. Not bad. Let’s get into the important stuff though…
Are these planners cute or what? I absolutely love the design and there’s a ton more. I got the black and white striped planner with gold detailing. It’s cute and classic. The only two bad things I have to say aren’t deal-breakers, but I thought I should mention them. The planner came with gold metal detailing on the outside corners of the front cover, but they didn’t hold up and ended up falling off after a few months. Boo. The only other issue was that the spiral binding came undone just a smidge toward the end of its use, but nothing too serious.
When I first bought the planner I wasn’t too sure how I’d like to structure of the pages. It’s set up vertically for every day, and has three sections: Today’s Top Three, where you can list your top to-do items for the day; Today’s Schedule, where there’s slots to schedule out your day from 6AM-7PM; and Tonight, which is where you write anything happening after 7PM. I was little weary about the ‘Today’s Schedule’ section because I’m more of a get-it-done-when-I-can type of gal, but surprisingly enough, I loved the schedule. I was able to plan out my whole day, put a mini to-do list, and be really happy with it. In addition to the daily sections, there are also areas for notes, gratitude, next week, and even an inspirational quote. In addition, it has a monthly page (picture below) for an overview of the next month.
Overall, I am absolutely in love with this planner if you couldn’t tell already. I just purchased a new one in a different style to see how I like it! If I do end up liking it, I will probably (who am I kidding, I WILL) be purchasing a genuine Day Designer off the website! Exciting!
Also if you’re a freak bout planners like me I made a little freebie for you! Oooh aaaah…

They’re printable stickers for your planner and they’re compatible with the Avery 5408 stickers. SO CUTE.
Don’t worry- if you can’t get the Avery stickers, you can print it on sticker paper and then cut them out yourself!
Okay, I’m going to stop talking about planners before I get too excited, but I hope that you enjoyed this review! I really do love this planner and I definitely recommend it for pretty much anyone who wants to be organized.
