Although here in Spain it still feels like summer, I’m getting into the fall mood! And even though Halloween isn’t huge here in Spain, I’m still getting in the spirit with a few of my favorite Halloween movies (Hocus Pocus, anyone?)!
Like any other fashion and beauty blogger, I love to spend my free time watching beauty tutorials on YouTube. Lately some of my favorite YouTubers ( you can find a list of them here) have been coming out with some amazing and spooky Halloween makeup looks. Last year I got really interested in special fx makeup and did a really awesome zombie look on my boyfriend. This year, however, I’ve been really loving the skull/skeleton looks. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite ones with the tutorials for you guys to get some ideas for your own costumes!
Simple White Skeleton:
This simple white skeleton is a really easy look for this Halloween. It’s very elegant and a great baseline if you want to add your own effects to it!
If you haven’t seen this video yet, you’ve been hiding under a rock because this video went viral the second it came out! Of course it’s the work of famous YouTuber Desi Perkins, so it’s definitely a more intermediate to advanced look.
Splatter Paint Skeleton:
I am absolutely in love with this skeleton look! It’s spooky yet fun because of the splatter paint details. If I was doing Halloween makeup this year, it would definitley be my pick!
I love this look because you still get the skull vibe without having to paint your whole face. This is a great medium-level look because although it’s very detailed, you’re only focusing on the bottom half of your face.
This look is definitely the creepiest, but I love that it has glam details to make it a little more wearable and fun!
These are just a few ideas for you to work with this Halloween. I hope that your night is fun and spooky and amazing! I know I’ll be missing out on the holiday festivities from here in Spain, but I’m excited to see what everyone’s costumes/looks will be this year.
Stay safe this Halloween! What are you planning for Halloween this year? Let me know in the comments!
