What’s up guys, long time no talk! I’ve arrived in Spain and I recently took a weekend trip to Morocco. This was a huge step for me because I checked another continent off my list! Now I’ve traveled to six out of the seven continents! I don’t see myself getting to Antarctica any time soon though….
I’ve decided to try something different this week and do more of a photo diary for you guys. If you like these types of posts and want more of them, comment down below so I can make that happen!
I had an amazing time in Morocco and was one of (if not my favorite) trips since I’ve been abroad. The cities were amazing, the food was delicious, and I brought back some nice goodies for friends and family!
The first day was magical! We toured Chefchaouen, the famous blue city! Everything was so picturesque and you can bet I got some amazing instagram-worthy shots! We ate lunch at a beautiful moroccan restaurant and the food was to die for! And it definitely helps that I love all the spices used in Moroccan cuisine! After lunch, we were well-rested and hit the local shops! Here are some pictures from day one:
Unfortunately I was only there for 2 days, so this was my last day in Morocco. On this day, we visited Asilah, a beach town known for its paintings, the Hercules caves, and met some cool camels! I absolutely loved Asilah! It was very similar to Chefchaouen, however not everything was blue! The town was filled with street art and colorfully painted walls. The beach was just as stunning! The Hercules caves were also a great addition to the trip. My long-awaited camel ride was the last stop on the trip and it was definitely worth the wait!
So that was a quick recap of my trip to Morocco! If you’d like more posts like these, make sure to comment down below! Also, if you’d like any recommendations or a post about the specifics of my trip or a few tips for traveling in Morocco, feel free to comment that as well!
